Etika pekedai/ peruncit dan pekerja mereka di Malaysia

Etika? Do they even have them? Malaysian among the polite nations in the world? Now kemon! Who are you kidding with. People can you please be honest with the questionaire? Jangan menipu boley? Malaysia is supposed to be at the lowest ranking both for their politeness and and sex drive. Heck, so far itu saja yg asik kua masuk berita hairan and whatnot when it comes to worldwide ranking. Now analyze this:

Politeness. What do you consider as polite? Think for a moment at least one trait that you could find in almost every malaysian that makes you say oh you're so polite! Pikir sampai tertido2. Agak sukar di situ ye. Aku malas nak bash bangsa sendiri. Tp bila ingat2 blk buat rasa nak maki hamun je sekor2. But then let's turn this into a positive bebelan. Instead of bashing bangsa sendiri, baik aku puji orang laen.

Saya belajar di tennessee for 4 years. Tahu x kat mana tu? Tahu tak betapa kampung nya ia? Tahu tak org suka nganjing tpt tu ramai redneck, kampung koboi. Ye, ia tidak se urban nyc, tak sebandar LA. Masuk lift ditekan2 sampAi berlobang butang tutup pintu lif.

Put tht aside. Bukan nk bebel sgt pasal ni. Tp sopan is the one vital thing yang patut ada pada orang bekerja jumpa2 orang, especially salesgirl, org jaga till or cashier. Tp di mana kesopanan anda? Ke laut! Selalu yang biasa didengar orang yang pernah tinggal di oberdesi, they have never encountered shopping experience like one in malaysia. Where you were being followed like you're gonna get caught for shoplifting anytime. So far that's not the case, even in the US or UK or even some other Europe countries i have ever been to. Not to say i ni org kaya pi shopping oberdesi je. Aku student jalan2 pakai selekeh je. But i was free to go in and out of shops, malls and even LV store in champ elysees. Bukan beli pon. Try2 barang berangan kaya mcm rosmah. Rambut je tak setinggi rosmah. takde org nk mengekor mcm anak kucin kehilangan ibu dan sumber susunye. (nice words i use eh. Nak je aku ckp mcm hanjing yg mengekor!)

Kalo beli barang runcit, pegi kedai uncle tepi jln ilkeston was always fun. Bukan niat nak mengejek, but the uncle has a cute way of greeting people. Thank you very moooocchhhhh. Kalo kat malaysia, aku tahu la ko lapar, letih berdiri. Ko pggl kawan ko ganti kejap boley x sementara ko mentekedarah or gi bergolek. Aku benci tgk muka ko moncong! Kalo tak tahan jgn keja depan org. Kalo org endon, bangla dtg conquer semua meroyan. Takde keja utk local katanya.

Kalo nak cari barang pon susah. Kalo tanya pekerja lagi susah dari cari sendiri, baik aku bukak kedai sendiri. Cari dlm kedai sendiri. At least aku tahu kat mana aku letak barang. Yang lagi hangin semalam kebebalan yang nyata berlaku. Beli barang, tak boley cancel. Ok lemme elaborate. Aku pergi speedmart jelatek kt bawah tu. Tzk jauh. Jalan kaki je kat bawah rumah. Sambil2 bawak anak jalan2. Orang jalan2 kat bawah rumah, ta, plan nak beli belahbawak duit ribu2 ke? Aku bawak hapa yang hado la kan.

Aku masuk speedmart, aku amik satu extension cord, satu biskut hannah. Bawak pergi till, or org mesia panggil cashier. Dah scan, total rm22. Aku bukak beg gabak tp kosong, tgk2 ada not 10 and a bunch of not 1 rm. Kira2 aku ada rm 18. So aku ckp dkt minachi, i nak extension cord, i nk kensel beskut. Minachi kata gak boley kensel. Now now. Who are you kidding with minachi? Aku dh pergi dari sekecik2 kedai roncit ke sebesar2 store. Ko baru kua kandang lembuke? Baru dpt keja? Ko baru register scan benda tu. Enter pon belom. Duit aku x bagi pon lagi. Dah mmg aku tak cukop duit, ko nk aku buat hapa bodo? Org dh beratur ramai kt blkg. Nasib baik aku x glabah.

Aku dh pergi sebesar2 walmart la wei. Berganda2 besar dr speedmart yg ko jadi balachi. I've seen people took tens of stuff and canceled some. Returned half eaten bread. I've seen worse. Takde masalah la stakat nak kensel barang satu pasal aku x cukop 4 hengget. Bukan aku x mampu. And aku tak perlu buktikan aku mampu beli pon. I know my rights. Si minachi boley pulak panggil supervisor yg mmg nyata depan mata. But then perkara yang membezakan mentaliti dan keperibadian orang malaysia dan orang amareka berlaku. Minachi ckp dpn2 orang beratur ramai "bang, kensel barang. Dia tak cukop duit".

Aku mmg tak malu. Aku tahu hak aku. Ko scan je. Aku tahu ko boley kensel. Mmg aku tak cukop duit. But i dont need reason to cancel my purchase do i? I havent even purchased it. Baru in the process. Ko ingat aku bodo ke? Ko kata tak boleh scan? Sedangkan orang dh bayar pon boley return. Apa lagi org belom bayar. Boley jer kensel. If i were in the US, they would have done it as discreet as possible. Not to hummiliate the customer. Even if the customer himself sometimes like to attract attention and hummiliate himself, esp d redneck. Haha. Kalo org lain, they would have done something to prove that they coukd afford that total of rm22. To me, that minachi is not worth my second.
